Responsibilities	• Strong expertise in Linux system administration (RedHat, Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS, NixOS) with advanced experience in FreeBSD environments. • Solid experience in Windows Server administration and integration within hybrid infrastructures. • Advanced shell scripting skills (Bash) with strong experience in Python for automation and systems integration. • Proven experience with configuration management and automation tools such as Ansible, and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform. • Deep understanding of web-based and backend applications, and close collaboration with development teams to deploy and operate scalable services using Nginx, PHP-FPM, MariaDB, HAProxy, Varnish, Redis, and micro-services architectures. • Strong knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, VPNs, load balancing, and overlay networks. • Expert-level experience in DNS architecture, performance tuning, and large-scale DNS infrastructures, including NSD and Unbound. • Solid knowledge of mail server systems and protocols (SMTP, POP3, IMAP), including Postfix and Dovecot. • Strong experience with version control systems and collaborative workflows, particularly Git. • Advanced knowledge of storage systems and filesystems, especially ZFS, including data integrity, resiliency, and migration strategies. AI / Machine Learning Infrastructure Competencies: • Ability to install, configure, and operate AI/ML and Large Language Models (LLMs) on on-premise and cloud infrastructures. • Experience deploying AI models using containers (Docker / Podman) and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes. • Knowledge of GPU-enabled environments (NVIDIA CUDA, drivers, GPU passthrough, and resource optimization). • Experience exposing AI models securely via APIs and integrating them with web and backend applications. • Ability to monitor, scale, and optimize AI workloads for performance, availability, and cost efficiency. • Understanding of data security, access control, and compliance considerations when operating AI models in enterprise or governmental environments.
