Responsible for the installation, maintenance, backup and recovery of the internal and client servers. Will also coordinate with customers during project development as well as liaising between customers and developers to make sure the work is done smoothly
Responsibility includes keeping up to date with security vulnerabilities and patching, as well as automating tasks by writing configuration management templates and automation scripts

• Solid understanding of any Linux distribution (RedHat, Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS, …), Knowledge of FreeBSD would be an asset
• Solid understanding of Windows administration
• Strong shell programming expertise with bash shell. Knowledge of Python or Ansible would be an asset.
• Understanding of Web based applications and able to work with other teams to develop and deploy solutions that meet application requirements. Knowledge of the Nginx/PHP-FPM/MariaDB stack would be an asset
• Solid understanding of basic networking (TCP/IP, routing, firewalls)
• Solid understanding of the DNS protocol. Knowledge of NSD/Unbound would be an asset
• Solid understanding of mail servers (SMTP/POP3/IMAP). Knowledge of Postfix/Dovecot would be an asset
• Solid understanding of concurrent versioning systems. Knowledge of Git/Gogs would be an asset
• Knowledge of the ZFS filesystem would be a big asset
Expected Added Value: Provides the web development department with the required operations competencies needed to substitute the resignation of the system administrator mentioned above.
