AMMAN
– Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Forum (TAG-KF), a member of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh
Global (TAG.Global), has honored outstanding visually impaired and orphan
students in the 2023 national general secondary education certificate
examination (Tawjihi) by presenting smartphones to each one of them: phones
that are manufactured and produced by Talal Abu-Ghazaleh for Technology
(TAGTech).
The
honoring ceremony was organized by the Local Security Council, affiliate of the
Shmeisani Police Station in coordination with the Community Policing Department
at the Public Security Directorate. The ceremony was held in the presence of
the Director of the Central Amman Police Directorate and members of the Local
Security Council of the Shmeisani area, and representatives of the TAG-KF with
the participation of students and their families.
TAG.Global’s
participation came as part of TAG.Global’s mission and Corporate Social Responsibility
programs to disseminate and promote knowledge tools and to support educational
excellence. TAGTech smartphones were designed to match all society segments,
especially to people with visual impairments, by providing an easy-to-use vocal
assistant service and Braille keyboard system.
In
a message conveyed by Mr. Bader Foqaha, TAG-KF manager, HE Dr. Talal
Abu-Ghazaleh, TAG.Global founder and chairman, said: “As I always say,
suffering is a blessing, and your victory over physical, material, or social
suffering is greater than the successes of others. I always thank God for the
blessing of suffering that I have been experiencing throughout my life journey,
which helped me achieve success.”
