‘Abu-Ghazaleh Global Digital’ and Lebanon-Based Koura Renaissance Foundation Sign Cooperation Agreement

To promote digital education and empower the youth

BEIRUT – As part of promoting educational development, strengthening digital transformation, and empowering the youth, Chairman and Founder of Koura Renaissance Foundation (KRF), Mr. Hassan Sakr, and Mr. Burhan Al Ashkar, representative of HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh for Culture and Media in Lebanon, inaugurated the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Station in Koura’s headquarters.

The two parties, furthermore, signed a cooperation agreement in the fields of training, digital learning, and capacity building, in the presence of prominent educational and social personalities, as well as local community representatives.

During the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Al Ashkar stated that establishing the Knowledge Station comes within the mission of TAG.GD aimed at spreading knowledge, enhancing quality learning, and providing training and capacity-building opportunities for the youth.

This is in line with the rapid advancement of knowledge economy and digital transformation, and at the same time, to positively contribute to the preparation of generations equipped to address the challenges of the modern era.

For his part, Mr. Saker stated that signing the agreement and the inauguration of the Knowledge Station represent a significant milestone toward advancing local development in Koura area, emphasizing the importance of institutional partnerships in creating modern learning environments that enhance youth opportunities for sustainable learning and support their integration into digital and professional learning programs.

Moreover, the two sides stressed that the agreement establishes a framework for long-term collaboration with the aim to carry out specialized education and training programs, organizing knowledge-based and digital activities that effectively contribute to raising awareness, sharpening skills, and fostering a culture of innovation in line with the best interests of the local community.

For her part, the Knowledge Station Director, Dr. Marie-Lyne Mansi, pointed to the pivotal role the Station plays as an integrated and training platform dedicated to developing youth capacities in line with the demands of the modern era and rapid technological advancements.

It is worth mentioning that the inauguration of the Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Station in Koura represents a key milestone in advancing digital education and serves as a tangible demonstration of both institutions’ commitment to serving society, while reinforcing investment in knowledge as a core driver of comprehensive development.
