- Assisting in the process of reviewing data about material assets, net worth, liabilities, capital stock, surplus, income, and expenditures. - Assisting the audit team in the process of examining and analyzing accounting records to determine financial status of the company. - Assisting in the process of examining and evaluating financial information systems, recommending controls to ensure system reliability and data integrity. - Participating in the process of inspecting items in books of original entry to determine if accepted accounting procedure was followed in recording transactions. - Counts cash on hand, inspects notes receivable and payable, negotiable securities, and cancelled checks. - Assisting in the process of preparing detailed reports on audit findings. - Performing other duties assigned by the direct supervisors.
